Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships are government funded training programmes aimed at developing young people to ensure they have the best chance of progressing in their careers. The apprenticeship ‘framework’ is agreed by the appropriate national Skills Sector Council (SSC). The frameworks aim to give learners a complete package of qualifications consisting of the vocational NVQ, Key Skills and Technical Certificates.
